SIP Verification for Audio Testing Process

The following steps outline the SIP Verification for audio process when verifying to Cisco Unified Communications Manager

  1. A vendor interested in becoming SIP Verified to Cisco Unified Communications (CCM,CCME,SRST), will need to fill out a Test Request Form.  You are welcome to contact tekVizion if you need any assistance filling out this form.  In addition, tekVizion will contact you if we have any questions with your request.
  2. Once tekVizion reviews the Test Request and determines the product is eligible for testing, tekVizion will contact the vendor to provide them a Service Agreement and a quote for the testing. If tekVizion determines the product is not eligible, the vendor will receive an email explaining the problem. The vendor is welcome to contact tekVizion for further discussion.
  3. A signed Service Contract, a purchase order, and 100% of the testing fee is required prior to scheduling the testing.  The testing fee is paid directly to tekVizion. The current fee schedule and payment guidelines are posted at the following location: Testing Fees
  4. Once the testing fee is received, tekVizion Labs will contact the vendor to schedule the testing.
  5. The vendor is not allowed to participate in the testing, but needs to be available onsite or by phone to answer any questions in the testing that might otherwise delay the testing and risk failing the test round.
  6. The vendor will be required to send their product to tekVizion labs five (5) business days prior to the start of testing.
  7. If the vendor cancels within five (5) business days prior to the scheduled test date, they will incur a cancellation fee. If the vendor reschedules the testing within three (3) business days prior to the scheduled test date, they will incur a rescheduling fee.
  8. tekVizion will perform the testing during the scheduled test dates communicated to the vendor. If, through no fault of the vendor, more time is required to complete the testing, tekVizion will do so at no additional cost to the vendor. If more time is required to complete the testing due to unreasonable delays in receiving support from the vendor or other delays for which the vendor is at fault (e.g., faulty end points, etc.), then tekVizion, in its sole discretion, may declare the testing a FAILURE. The vendor would then need to purchase a subsequent test round, at current rates, to complete SIP Verification for Audio Testing.
  9. At the conclusion of the testing, tekVizion will produce the test results in a report format and provide call traces and documentation where failures were seen.
  10. Vendors who successfully pass the verification testing will have their information posted on tekVizion’s web site.  There will be a link to this site on Cisco’s web site.
  11. tekVizion will review the test results with the vendor at an agreed to time upon the conclusion of testing.
  12. If the vendor needs assistance with any failures, they can purchase support services from tekVizion.
