SIP Verification
Testing Process
The following steps outline the
SIP Verification process when verifying to Cisco Unified CallManager
- A vendor interested in becoming SIP Verified to Cisco Unified Communications (CCM,CCME,SRST),
will need to fill out a Test Request
Form. You
are welcome to contact tekVizion if you need any assistance
filling out this form. In addition, tekVizion will contact
you if we have any questions with your request.
- Once tekVizion reviews the Test Request and determines the
product is eligible for testing, tekVizion will contact the
vendor to provide them a Service Agreement and a quote for
the testing. If tekVizion determines the product is not eligible,
the vendor will receive an email explaining the problem. The
vendor is welcome to contact tekVizion for further discussion.
- A signed Service Contract, a purchase order, and 100% of the testing fee is required prior to scheduling the testing. The
balance is due prior to the release of the test results. The
testing fee is paid directly to tekVizion. The current fee
schedule and payment guidelines are posted at the following
location: Testing
Fees
- Once the initial testing fee is received, tekVizion Labs
will contact the vendor to schedule the testing.
- The vendor is not allowed to be present during the testing,
but needs to be available by phone or email to answer any questions
in the testing that might otherwise delay the testing and increase
their fees.
- The vendor will be required to send their product to tekVizion
labs five (5) business days prior to the start of testing.
- If the vendor cancels within five (5) business days prior
to the scheduled test date, they will incur a cancellation
fee. If the vendor reschedules the testing within three
(3) business days prior to the scheduled test date, they will
incur a rescheduling
fee.
- tekVizion will test for the length of time estimated in the
testing service contract. If the estimated time expires
prior to the completion of the testing process, the vendor
may choose to end testing and return at a later date or may
request to pay for additional testing days to complete the
testing. tekVizion will attempt to notify the vendor as soon
as they realize an extension to the test time may be required.
If there are schedule conflicts for the extended days, tekVizion
will schedule the testing in the first available time slot.
- At the conclusion of the test time, tekVizion will produce
the test results in a report format and provide call traces
and documentation where failures were seen. These failure
results will be provided only to the vendor once the vendor
pays all testing fees.
- Vendors who successfully pass the verification testing will
have their information posted on tekVizion’s web site. There
will be a link to this site on Cisco’s web site.
- tekVizion will review the test results with the vendor at
an agreed to time upon the conclusion of testing.
- If the vendor needs assistance with any failures, they can
purchase support services from tekVizion.
