SIP Verification Testing to Cisco Unified Communications (CUCM, CUCME, SRST)
tekVizion Labs is the authorized test facility for SIP Verification
testing between Cisco Unified Communications (CUCM,CUCME,SRST) and third party
SIP end points.
What does SIP Verified mean when an endpoint is verified to Cisco Unified Communications (CUCM,CUCME,SRST)?
For a product to be SIP Verified, the following must occur:
- A product must pass all the tests related to the specified
list of features which are based on RFC standards 3261 and related
RFCs for trunk and line-side SIP interfaces. To pass means
the product must achieve 100% pass rate with expected results
on all selected features and for all tests within that feature
category. Prior to testing, the vendor will select
which features it wishes to verify on that particular product
being tested.
- The product cannot have any visible features on their end point
that do not work and/or are not verified.
- The product must also pass all the other test cases in the
test plan that relate to usability, reliability, and negative
testing. tekVizion will provide a copy of the test strategy outlining
all test cases upon request so that the vendor understands what
is being tested prior to signing a service contract
with tekVizion.
