Compleat-200 Service
Delivery Gateway
The Compleat-200 is
a Service Delivery Gateway (SDG) that combines media gateway, and
softswitch call control functions with powerful application call
control and signaling protocol translation, in a single scalable
platform. The Compleat-200 system
consists of Carrius Liberator software
integrated with standard off the shelf carrier-grade hardware. Liberator supports
interconnection among a full set of signaling protocols including
SIP, H.323, ISDN-PRI, SS7, WIN, CAMEL, and CAS, and then uses CCXML/VoiceXML,
SIP, or the Carrius API to present applications with an abstracted
view of the network. Through the SDG, service providers and solution
developers can deliver services over a large collection of disparate
networks. For service providers who previously could not justify
the expense of multiple standalone next generation network elements,
this combination makes VoIP deployments economically feasible.
For solution developers, this combination makes for an ideal telephony
foundation for them to deliver enhanced services solutions to more
markets sooner. The Compleat-200 scales
to support as few as 48 and up to 10,752 simultaneous calls in
a single chassis.
